AUDI SPORT QUATTRO S1 E2 - Beginner RTR
This model is ready to run (RTR), which means you don't need to assemble it and can take it right out of the box to the race track.
The Audi Quattro is a prominent figure in automotive history. First introduced in 1981, the Audi Quattro would revolutionize rally racing; and subsequently the trajectory of production car technology.
An updated version of the Audi Sport Quattro – given the ‘S1’ moniker – was introduced at the end of 1984. To meet homologation requirements for the improvements, Audi first had to produce an additional 20 examples per Group B regulations. After this was completed, Audi debuted the Sport Quattro S1 at the 1000 Lakes Rally in August 1985. We built the version from 1986 for the Monte Carlo Rally with the no 2 on the side. The car with Walter Röhrl came 4th place .
The Beginner RTR car is the ideal entry-level model, fully assembled and ready to run, just insert the battery and start driving. The Vmax level is 30 km/h. The setup is for beginners for every type of surface. Upgrading to faster engines is also possible at any time.
